10k & 2K Family Fun Run – March 2018
Set in the heart of Cardiff’s historic Bay, the Cardiff Bay Run is a fast, flat and friendly event for all ages and abilities. Previously known as the Cardiff Bay 5 Mile, the race returned in 2017 with a little makeover and stunning new 10km course with a sell-out 6500 runners.
The route takes in all of Cardiff Bay’s most iconic landmarks, starting and finish in Roald Dahl Plass, passing the Wales Millennium Centre, Mermaid Quay, the Pierhead Building, Senedd, Porth Teigr and the Cardiff Bay Barrage.

Marathon & 10K – 5th May 2019
The ABP Newport Wales Marathon has finally satisfied the demand for a premier marathon distance event in Wales, made possible by the support of Associated British Ports, Newport City Council and the Welsh Government.
The route is one of the UK’s flattest and fastest marathon courses – taking in a host of iconic landmarks, picturesque medieval villages and Newport’s recently regenerated city-centre.
The ABP Newport Wales 10K gives runners of all abilities the opportunities to get involved in one of Wales’ biggest weekends of running – without committing to the challenging 26.2 mile distance.

10k, Half Marathon & Family Fun Run – May 2019
The Royal Welsh Trail Running Festival is a half marathon, 10k and 3k family trail running event incorporated into the Royal Welsh Spring Festival – with it’s action packed programme of entertainment, food and drink, tradestands and much more.
Located in the heart of mid-Wales, the tough but scenic half marathon & 10km courses cover trails and tracks in the valley, woodlands and farm land overlooking the iconic Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells.
Closed Road Cycling Sportive – 2019 Date TBC
VELOTHON Wales offers cycling enthusiasts the unique opportunity to race through the stunning scenery of South Wales on traffic-free closed roads. With a number of routes on offer, there’s something for every level of fitness or ambition – for seasoned sportive readers, charity fundraisers or new cyclists looking to experience closed-road cycling for the first time.
The event starts and finishes in the heart of Cardiff, but also takes in Newport, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire and Torfaen.
Half Marathon – Sunday 7th October 2018
Run 4 Wales’ flagship event, the race is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2018.
Up to 25,000 runners will descend on the Welsh capital to celebrate the occasion for an elite and mass participation race on the famous flat, fast course – passing the cities most breathtaking scenery and iconic landmarks.
